My Story

I am Sarah Anne, the face behind Country Bug Baking. With so many family members with serious food allergies I decided to be the go-to for anyone wanting a gorgeous luxury cake without the dry, claggy and generally unpleasant experience of a poorly made free from cake.

I love all things creative and natural and have a passion for sourcing local ingredients from producers and artisans who share the same ethical and sustainability values.  I love to create elegant minimalist designs and see them come to life when the magic of the kitchen takes over. I am also a wife and mother of two very busy little girls.
